Epic Galapagos Cruise: Wildlife, Beaches & Volcanic Wonders

The itinerary guides travelers through the Galápagos Islands to experience various ecosystems, which host giant tortoises, sea lions, marine iguanas, and colorful bird species. The region contains untouched beach areas, volcanic peaks, steep cliffs, and clear waters, which create excellent conditions for snorkeling.

Day by day

Day 1: Arrival at Baltra & Exploration of Lobos Island and Kicker Rock

The staff at Baltra Airport will meet you when you land and then take you directly to the Grand Ocean Spray. The group receives their welcome drink and lunch before starting their excursion.

Lobos Island & Kicker Rock

Sea lions have found refuge on Lobos Island, because their colonies spread across the island's rocky coastline. Bird enthusiasts will discover this area appealing, because it offers protection to pelicans, frigatebirds, and yellow warblers. The narrow channel contains peaceful water, which allows for easy observation of sea turtles, stingrays, white-tipped sharks, and sea lions. The guests can participate in guided walks, snorkeling activities, and dinghy rides, which accommodate every skill level to observe Sally Lightfoot crabs, tropical fish, and Galapagos sharks in their original habitats.

Dinner on board.

Day 2: Discover San Cristobal: Pitt Point & Cerro Brujo

Pitt Point

The archipelago displays its most otherworldly scenery at this location, because volcanic activity has shaped the area for millions of years. The path leads to a peak, which offers ocean views from all directions, while visitors can observe blue-footed boobies nesting on the ground and red-footed boobies resting in the trees.

Cerro Brujo (Witch Hill)

The location stands out because of its steep cliffs and unique rock shapes, together with its untouched white beach, which meets clear blue water. The beach provides an excellent environment for swimming and walking along the shore, while presenting breathtaking views of the coastline.

Day 3: Floreana Island: Post Office Bay & Cormorant Point with Devil’s Crown
Day 4: Santa Cruz: Black Turtle Cove & Bartolomé Island
Day 5: Genovesa: Darwin Bay & Prince Philip’s Steps
Day 6: Santiago Island: Espumilla Beach, Buccaneer Cove & Puerto Egas
Day 7: Santa Cruz Highlights: North Seymour & Highlands with Charles Darwin Research Station
Day 8: Mosquera Islet & Departure from Baltra
