Unforgettable Galapagos Adventure: Wildlife, Beaches & Volcanic Landscapes

The Galápagos Islands stand ready to welcome travelers on this route, which leads them through multiple habitats that shelter giant tortoises, sea lions, marine iguanas, and colorful bird species. The area displays untouched shorelines next to volcanic mountains and steep coastlines, which lead to transparent waters that reveal vibrant underwater life.

Day by day

Day 1: Baltra Airport: Santa Fe Island

At Baltra Island Airport arrival guests must board the Grand Ocean Spray cruise ship which serves as their transportation. The guests receive a welcome drink when they enter before they get their first meal.

Santa Fe Island

The island serves as the only habitat for Santa Fe iguanas since volcanic eruptions formed the land which supports Opuntia cacti and Palo Santo trees. Visitors find two nature paths which guide them to a scenic point and a remote shore where they can observe Galapagos animals.
Dinner on board.

Day 2: Española Island: Suarez Point & Gardner Bay / Osborn Islet

Suarez Point

Visitors at this location get to see young waved albatrosses start their flight training while observing various animal species. Seabirds use land only for breeding purposes because they establish permanent relationships with their mates. The island hosts a variety of wildlife which includes marine iguanas with bright colors and Nazca boobies and blue-footed boobies and Galapagos doves and swallow-tailed gulls and red-billed tropicbirds and Darwin’s finches.

Gardner Bay / Osborn Islet

The beach contains white sand which protects sea lion populations that live in blue-green ocean waters. Birdwatchers can observe multiple finch species together with Española mockingbirds in their natural habitat. The Osborn and Gardner islets provide excellent snorkeling experiences which let visitors explore their colorful underwater environment.

Day 3: San Cristobal Island: Interpretation Center & Lobos Island / Kicker Rock
Day 4: San Cristobal Island: Pitt Point & Witch Hill
Day 5: Floreana Island: Post Office Bay & Cormorant Point / Devil’s Crown
Day 6: Black Turtle Cove & Baltra Airport
