Arrival at Seymour Airport, Baltra Island

- The guests start their travel day by checking in at Guayaquil and Quito international airports during early morning hours. The total flight length varies between 1 hour and 45 minutes and 3 hours because of different airport connections and flight paths.

- The transportation service will take visitors from Seymour Airport (GPS) to the VIP Lounge where staff members will help them through their arrival procedures. The guests will travel to Itabaca Channel by private van before taking a brief 7-minute boat journey to reach Santa Cruz Island. The journey continues with a private 45-minute drive to reach Pikaia Lodge.

Arrival at Pikaia Lodge

- Guests can check in at the Lodge starting from 2:00 pm until 12:00 pm.

- The hotel staff will present guests with free drinks when they arrive while handing them printed travel schedules. The Front Desk staff will organize a personal welcome meeting to provide essential information about the guest's stay and the Galapagos Islands.

- Lunch is served at the Evolution Restaurant or the Pool Terrace.

- The guests have dedicated time to unwind while they discover the luxurious facilities of the lodge during the afternoon. The lodge offers guests the option to select between Sumaq Spa treatments and swimming in the Infinity Pool and gym access and trekking and cycling through the 31-hectare private grounds which exist inside a giant tortoise protection area.

- Dinner service takes place at the Evolution Restaurant. The Homo Sapiens Explorers Lounge receives guests after dinner to watch an HD Galapagos documentary which Sir David Attenborough narrates.

Full-Day Yacht Cruise – Pikaia I

The Pikaia I Yacht presents a complete day of exploration which includes private cabins that match the specific room assignments of each guest. The yacht delivers breakfast service during its voyage toward the initial island destination. Guests can select between guided hiking and snorkeling activities which will show them the untouched Galapagos environment and its animal species until noon.

The yacht serves a buffet lunch that includes authentic Ecuadorian dishes during the journey to the following destination where an afternoon adventure will begin.

The staff will create departure plans based on the individual flight departure times which each guest has scheduled. The staff will escort guests to Baltra Island Airport through private transportation after their departure from the hotel. At the airport Pikaia Lodge staff will help guests with their airline check-in process for flights back to Guayaquil or Quito.
