Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island
❯Welcome to the Galapagos! Your English-speaking naturalist guide will meet you at the VIP lounge of Baltra Airport to start your journey which will lead you to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island where your camp awaits.
Your guide will begin telling stories about upcoming wildlife encounters to the children when you have settled in.
The tour begins with a meal of local produce before you venture into volcanic tunnels to see giant tortoises in the protected area near your camping site.
The 50-hectare farm will provide you with an opportunity to harvest tropical fruits and seasonal cacao while you watch native birds before the sun goes down.
Day 2: Santa Cruz Island: Garrapatero Beach
❯After breakfast we travel to a nearby organic coffee farm to study sustainable small-scale farming methods used in the Galapagos while children get the chance to participate in coffee bean harvesting during the seasonal harvest.
Our next destination is Cerro Mesa crater where we will take a brief walk through its wetlands while observing different bird species and occasional tortoise swimming.
Our plan after lunch at the local restaurant involves getting on our bikes to experience an exciting downhill journey toward Garrapatero Beach. The place shows a perfect combination of mangroves and black lava and white sand and turquoise waters which serves as a sanctuary for flamingos and marine iguanas and blue-footed boobies. Guests can explore the bay by sea kayak or enjoy a refreshing swim.
The camp turns into a peaceful zone at night when parents rest up while their children learn from a nearby artist.
Day 3: North Seymour, Bartolomé, Plazas or Santa Fe Island
❯Board a motor yacht early in the morning to visit one of the nearby uninhabited islands which include North Seymour, Bartolomé, Plazas, and Santa Fe.
Every island holds its own distinct endemic treasure which makes it an ideal place for exploration and discovery. The Galapagos Marine Reserve stands as one of the biggest marine reserves on Earth because it provides users with incredible snorkeling experiences directly from their boat.
Visitors can choose between the shared boat tour or private guide service and family yacht charter according to their preferences.
Day 4: Family fishing adventure
❯A day spent with local fishermen brings children great joy because it lets them experience wildlife while learning about traditional fishing practices.
The fishermen operate with modern safety speedboats which we offer for private group charter services. The guide will translate their sea stories as they show children fishing techniques from their local environment.
Your fishing adventure will end at a hidden beach which offers snorkeling activities at a location that only residents know about. The guide will modify the schedule according to your family's preferences between fishing activities and beach time or snorkeling adventures.
Back at the Camp in the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely walk, swim in the pool, or simply relax before dinner.
Day 5: Santa Cruz Island: Charles Darwin Research Station & Tortuga Bay
❯After breakfast we head to the Charles Darwin Research Station and Tortoise Breeding Center to study island conservation programs. Children can see the famous Galapagos tortoises up close, while parents have free time to explore Puerto Ayora.Your guide will bring the children to a nearby playground and then show them the local fish market.
After lunch you have the option to stroll or use a speedboat to reach Tortuga Bay which features white sand beaches along with marine iguanas and clear blue waters that contain fish and white-tip reef sharks. You can also join a snorkeling trip to swim with sea lions.
Day 6: Departure
❯Spend the morning enjoying the calm and beauty of the Camp. The Camp provides a peaceful setting for visitors to unwind through walks and swimming and watch the sunrise from the designated viewing area before they depart for their next destination.
