Galapagos Discovery Tour

After arriving at Baltra Airport, you will be greeted and assisted in buying a bus ticket for the route between the airport and the Itabaca Channel. You will then be transported by ferry to Santa Cruz Island (a 10-minute trip). Once on Santa Cruz Island, a stop will be made in the highlands, where you'll tour a Giant Tortoise Reserve. Enjoy a simple trek to view Giant Tortoises in their environment, as well as the lava tunnels and Los Gemelos. Afterward, you will be taken to your hotel and check in.

Following breakfast, you will be picked up and taken to Puerto Ayora. There, you'll enjoy a guided walking tour of Tortuga Bay, renowned as one of South America's most stunning beaches. Subsequently, you will explore The Charles Darwin Research Station, gaining firsthand insights into the conservation and research initiatives underway in the Galapagos Islands. Observe the tortoise hatchlings and breeding initiatives dedicated to rescuing various tortoise species from becoming extinct. You'll also have the chance to view the enormous Galapagos tortoises. Overnight stay on Santa Cruz Island.

Very early in the day, we'll travel by speedboat to Isabela Island, arriving at Puerto Villamil. Not far from Puerto Villamil is the small islet called 'Las Tintoreras'. We might get to observe a small penguin colony that has recently made its home in Puerto Villamil; they are often found resting next to Blue-Footed Boobies. A group of white tip sharks can frequently be spotted resting in a lava channel here. You have the option to snorkel or swim around this islet. In the afternoon, we'll return to Puerto Ayora via a shared speedboat.

We will collect you from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. for your trip to Pinzon Island. We'll transport you to the Itabaca Channel on Santa Cruz Island, where you will get on a boat. The journey from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca Channel takes roughly 45 minutes. From the Itabaca Channel, you'll head to Daphne Islet, a 15-minute boat trip. At Daphne Islet, you'll have about 45 minutes to snorkel and observe seabirds like blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, and frigate birds from the boat. Following Daphne, you'll visit "Bahia Borrero" Borrero Bay, a beach where you can enjoy more incredible snorkeling or simply unwind on its lovely shore. Then it's on to Pinzon Island, where you will spend the majority of the day, offering a chance to jump in the water and experience some of the world's best snorkeling.

Enjoy breakfast before we transfer you to Baltra Airport for your flight back to the mainland for connecting flights or to explore Ecuador. This concludes our services.
