The tour provides an ideal choice for vacationers who want to spend a few days exploring the Galapagos.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Baltra Island & Santa Cruz Island: Tortuga Bay
❯Flight from Quito or Guayaquil to Baltra´s airport where a naturalist guide will transfer you to the Puerto Ayora.The guide will stop at the highlands to show visitors the giant land tortoises during the journey. Here, you would have time for lunch, and enjoy the view.You will need to follow the transfer to reach your hotel.
In the afternoon, the guide will take you to enjoy Tortuga Bay.You will spend about 45 minutes walking through a cactus path until you reach Playa Brava which gets its name from its dangerous water movements. The beach hosts numerous marine iguanas together with various species of marine birds and pelicans. After visiting Playa Brava, we continue with an additional 15 minute walk to reach Playa Mansa.The second beach exists as a natural lagoon where blue footed boobies and pelicans come to visit. It is also a beautiful place for swimming and taking sun. You will be walking the same distance to return.
The group will return to their hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Note: To execute this itinerary, it is important to choose an early flight that arrives maximum at 10am to Baltra.
Day 2 & 3: Sailing Tours (Bartolome / North Seymour / Plazas / Santa Fé)
❯The guide will meet you in the hotel lobby after breakfast to escort you to the dock for your tour which includes one island visit per day based on island accessibility. The small yacht will serve as your dining location for lunch. The port will receive you back during the afternoon.
North Seymour Island provides visitors with a chance to explore its trails while they swim and snorkel in its waters. The main attractions include frigates and boobies and gulls and hawks and green sea turtles and the famous Galapagos Sharks.
Bartolome Island presents itself as the most stunning natural feature of the entire archipelago. This particular island stands out as the most photographed location throughout the entire Galapagos Islands. Visitors can see two stunning bays while they study the volcanic cones and lava formations.
Two islands form Plazas.The channel's turquoise waters create a stunning contrast with the white sand and black lava shoreline. The location provides excellent opportunities to view marine creatures together with manta rays. Snorkeling finds its ideal environment on coastal areas.
Santa Fé functions as a compact island which exists in the southeastern part of Santa Cruz while serving as a home for a large population of sea lions. The endemic land iguanas appear with a more vivid coloration than the iguanas which live on Plazas Island. The walking tour will end at the beach. After lunch you can do snorkeling and perhaps observe sharks and turtles.
Your hotel will provide both dinner and accommodation during your return journey.
Day 4: Santa Cruz Island: Charles Darwin Station
❯Your day starts with a visit to the Charles Darwin Station during the early morning hours. The park contains multiple Giant Tortoise species for visitors to observe.
The presentation will explain the current initiatives to protect Giant Tortoises together with the entire archipelago environment. The guide will lead you to the airport after your visit which requires around 60 minutes to reach. Your return flight to Quito or Guayaquil will start from the airport.
Note: To execute this itinerary, it is important to choose a late flight that departs not before 11am from Baltra.
